MORRISSEY.

this charming man. really; what a beautiful human being. i can't believe i got the chance to actually see him live. i had tribune seats on the right side. i think i came a bit too early because not many people were there. i thought it was going to be a bit empty but i was wrong. people practically just flourished in and the whole venue was packed. festival, tribune and the vip were pretty full. of course, it's Morrissey what can i say. he didn't have an opening act. everything was quite minimalistic. even the ticket design and the whole venue was very simple. they didn't have meat there. no burgers, no kebabs; obviously since he's a vegetarian and he probably requested it that way.

for the first 15-30 min, clips of old videos from the 50's-80's were shown. not of him though; of some obscure bands and stuff. then suddenly, the screen fell and there he was. Moz. perfectly standing on the stage in a purple button down. he had three band members which were.... topless. and a guitarist with a sparkly outfit. he said some indonesian words like 'aku cinta kamu'. the setlist...i'm not too fond of.

    no, he didn't play there is light that never goes out, nor did he play this charming man. i understand those are the smiths songs but he didn't even play the more you ignore me the closer i get, or english blood irish heart, i don't mind if you forget me. but i guess it was alright because he sang you're the one for me, fatty. all through the song i was like THATS MEEE I'M A FATTYY THANKYOU MORRISEY I KNOW I'M THE ONE FOR YOU~~ the end was kind of a disappointment though. it ended so fast :( like he suddenly walked out of stage. i think the audience were all confused too.

    oh this dude went up the stage and hugged him and another kissed his cheek during the song let me kiss you. the security were such a party pooper :( like really they kept intervening when morrissey wanted to touch the audience. poo. i didn't get any proper photos because i didn't bring my camera with me and the camera on my phone is shit. anyways; what a night. after i had indomie rebus with cheese and telor :9 xx
